for the last two decades, james eric has shaped the identities of some of the world's most illustrious fashion magazines, applying his vision to the creation — and re-creation — of more than fifteen titles in four countries.

his editorial career started in moscow with the launch of elle russia in 1995, where he was responsible for the visual direction and creative content of the magazine for the first four years of its radical success. since then, james eric has designed and directed magazines in stockholm, oslo and paris, including vogue, harper's bazaar, jalouse, elle france and, most recently, gq france.

now Based in Paris, james eric heads an independent design collective called Kasimir° that specializes in brand identity and custom content creation for commercial clients. his current collaborations span the print and digital continuum, from bespoke books and magazines to ui-ux design and development.
